gregverena 339 Posted March 1, 2018 Verena says- compared to Greg's "work" areas, this looks well organized! G says- lots of useful stuff there- some, however, is unrecognizable, sadly... Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted March 1, 2018 Greg & Verena....My dad passed away 20 yrs ago and this was the workbench in his shed.I see some of his stuff still hanging where he placed it such as the wrench pouch and that salvaged copper wire at upper right.Since he left, the place had been used to throw anything that might eventually be useful and is just now being cleaned out before the shed collapses.I originally shot for me but thought it made for an interesting image.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted March 1, 2018 Laurent, this is a fine tribute to your father. Clearly, he was skilled at whatever task he performed with this seeming hodgepodge of equipment. I have no doubt that he had no problem locating a particular tool despite the appearance of disorganization. Just as your dad was adept with his tools, you are adept with yours. - - My best, michael Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted March 2, 2018 Michael..Thank you for the kind reflection. My dad was a pretty handy at anything manual but primarily a skilled carpenter and like most dads,he always wanted better for his kids and made sure my brothers and I went to college.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
