OMG, Pierre!!! This one is among your best ever (deserving an admire and a favorite). The symbolism is compelling. There are two halos. The smaller one is typical of classical paintings showing religious figures, and it designates holiness. Yet, the larger one the ring furnishes not only encompasses the smaller one (an automatic second designation of holiness), but also encompasses your head entirely. This creates an entirely different meaning of holiness, perhaps indicating that holiness can come from a person's simply being in the ordinary world. And, by the way, do I have to call you Saint Pierre from now on?? - - My best always, michael
