The New Venetian

There are signs there are many expatriates living in Venice - people with means who have retired to raise the Italian flag and call it home. I certainly understand the allure of the place.

Or raise their own flag.

Wayne, your photopaintings never cease to amaze me. This one is no exception. The hint of a wake gives the image dynamism, while the Venetian architecture in the background displays its usual array of color, as George noted.
