This “soft-filmy” treatment of this scene in Santa Croce, Venice in addition to masking identities is my way of imparting that romantic fairy tale feel that envelopes me and maybe others while in Venice.

Wayne, for me this is your most excellent work! I like the balance of colour between the sides of the street so that the yellow building stands out. The light on the blinds/awnings leads me to the yellow building and then the blue figures draw me back to start over, hence my attention is held. Beautiful.
