michaellinder 16,611 Posted December 22, 2017 Laurent, I am compelled to note that your recent winter images - every one of them - are simply spectacular. This one is no exception. The driftwood piled up along the shore line of a magnificent Canadian lake adds considerable interest. Without the driftwood, the image would have seen sufficient to display the beauty of the lake and its surroundings; it would lack punch, though. Although I don't miss the daily grind associated with a northern winter, I miss winter nonetheless. - - My best, michael Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted December 24, 2017 [[show-photo-18446653]] Michael,..Thank you....I posted a reply last night to find it gone this morning,This was on a day when the light was right,so I shot until my hands were frozen;the driftwood was a storm bonus as it had to find its way over the berm which seperates the lake from the open waters.I gather you have experienced northern winters and I appreciate your present warm climate as I have experienced it in the past; I might just wander in your Florida when it gets a little colder here.I have attached another shot of this driftwood for your perusal.Again...Merry Christmas!Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
