setsail728 15 Posted December 14, 2017 Nice treatment. Looks like a watercolor painting (which I love!!) Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 567 Posted December 14, 2017 Now a hotel, Ca’ Favretto was the home of Giacomo Favretto, a most notable Venetian painter primarily of scenes of everyday life in Venice. Fravretto’s painting style has a little more realism than found in impressionism but not quite the exactitude of a photograph. Needless to say, I love his work. Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 567 Posted December 14, 2017 Thanks, Warren. I stumbled on this image and realized the bones were right (the composition was there). It just needed a little treatment to give it interest. The bonus was to discover it was the home of a famous artist. Link to comment

Wayne Sadler 567 Posted December 20, 2017 Thanks, Patsy. It's a treat to learn about the places I saw and photographed without knowing much about its history. Link to comment
