Wayne Sadler 567 Posted December 12, 2017 Ponte Rialto on the Grand Canal in Venice is a busy place and it is easy for photographs of the place to be busy (contain too many elements making the image confusing). One advantage a painter has over a photographer is the ability to more easily simplify an image – by various methods, merge many elements into a few. I think simplifying this image helped to salvage the photograph. Link to comment
