michaellinder 16,611 Posted December 7, 2017 Laurent, the tragedy resulting from people abandoning, in a beautiful natural setting like this, their old, worn out, cars and other items that have outlived their usefulness turned out to be a wonderful photographic opportunity. You took full advantage! The photograph without the vehicle would have worked quite well as a landscape; the vehicle's presence adds both interest and a touch of documentation. - - Best, michael Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted December 9, 2017 Michael,I agree wholeheartedly with you about the forest being used to camouflage improvised dumps. In this case however, these cars were driven here as spare parts bins ,parked at the very end of the property when it was a bare open field. With time, the forest grew around the cars helped by my dad who was forever planting trees;now the dilema is to cut or not the trees to get the cars to the recyclers. In any case and for the time being, these are out of sight save for my occasional peek with the camera.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
