Wayne Sadler 559 Posted December 5, 2017 This area of the latin quarter (quartier latin) near rue de la Harpe and rue Saint-Séverin in Paris is said to date from Roman times. With its 18th century architecture, it felt more like Bourbon Street, New Orleans. I even saw a few people dancing on the cobblestoned streets one night. I might even have shook my hips a time or two. Link to comment
charo 3 Posted December 5, 2017 Hi Wayne. I like the treatment you have given to the picture, like a painting! The colors are more intense and contrasted..... Kind Regards, Rosario. Link to comment

Wayne Sadler 559 Posted December 7, 2017 Thanks, Patsy. I think this style of processing allows me freedom to explore the human form. Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted December 8, 2017 Hi Wayne: I admire how you are exploiting this very personally yours technique. It is a very interesting touchstone to get back into impressionism of the great painters like Monet, Manet and the like. You are metamorphosing common street views just like Degas into something ver pleasing to view. Admirable technique through post processing. I take the opportunity to use this comment to include most - if not all - of your postings (which I have viewed and admired) along the same general framework. Very artistic. Best regards. Wayne Sadler 559 Posted December 8, 2017 Many thanks, Daniel. I like this form of expression but my insecurities need the affirmation of artists I admire. I really appreciate the kind comments and encouragement. Link to comment
