setsail728 15 Posted December 4, 2017 Ah! Driftwood! I love driftwood. This is a particularly nice photo of collection of interesting wood. I saw a bunch of it last week when I was in New Zealand. Wonderful decoration for any beach!! Nice shot! Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted December 15, 2017 Hi Radu, Thank you and sorry for this late reply; no telling where this driftwood is from and for how long it has been at sea.Obviously this one found its way into the water not so long ago as there is still some bark attached.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted December 15, 2017 Hi Warren,Thank you kindly and sorry for the late reply.Agree that driftwood can be interesting but this invasion is the largest I have witnessed here in the 12 years I have been photo-seeking on this beach,to the point one can hardly walk(safely) on some stretches.Guess nature lined up all the elements for the happening and I hope some high tide will come along to float some of this out before the big freeze.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
