michaellinder 16,611 Posted November 28, 2017 Thanks for the trip back in time, Laurent. I suspect this fine vintage vehicle is a Silver Hawk, or one of its varieties. Due to the composition, it's oddly and interestingly placed in front of a sign advertising a rather contemporary surgical technique. By the way, I have a love for Studebakers, ever since my favorite uncle was the company's chief of PR. He personally introduced me to the Avanti in 1964. - - Best, michael Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted November 29, 2017 [[show-photo-18440473]] Michael, Glad you like!My first car was a 1953 Studebaker which I got when I was too young to drive and after I convinced my dad I was going to get it in working condition for when I would have my driver's permit. We got it going but I think it consumed more oil than gas...and it never made it back on the road. This one I shot at a show as the cars were being allowed on Main street and the odd position is the best I could manage as cars were in a single line.I attach(hope this works)a front shot of this far from mint but so rare and skillfully rendered MEAN Stude by the proud owner.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
