Hello Michael: Begging your pardon, I take the opportunity here, to thank you for your latest comments and for your always keen observations, which because of the detail you appreciate does me a great honor. Having said that, this image resonates a lot with my taste in photography. That is, firstly, B&W very finely chosen for this shot. Then the perspective which is exquisite, making the area larger than it might actually be. The emptiness of the place and the perfect order of the chairs, and last but not least, the many planes and textures. The intrusion of the sky makes the viewer go deeper into the whole composition, thus making the whole scene complex, inviting further analysis and a longer time figuring out the many excellent details, like the left-right ligh-shadows of the rows. Simply exceptional. Wow! All my best wishes and warmest regards. DG

Mehmet, Holger, and Pierre: I am so sorry for not responded in a timely manner to your respective reviews. I have no excuse and no explanation, other than my not paying attention when I should have done so. Holger, specifically, I'm grateful that you favorited this image. - - My best always, michael

Daniel, I'm so glad that you picked this image for the analytical and thoughtful you provided. In my opinion, I was quite happy with it myself - when I shot it and later when I did what I considered to be the necessary post work.. Although I can't remember with any degree of certainly why or how the image has the sort of perspective you mentioned, I suspect I had the camera at eye height when I shot it. My only regret when I finished the post work was not having a human presence in the image, but I learned from your reference to other elements (chairs, planes, textures, etc.) that they may have been sufficient to carry it. Quite aside from your own gifted work, I am humbled by the words you chose to compliment this piece. I know not only from whom, but also from where, those words came. - - My best always, michael
