I like this unpretentious, interesting environmental portrait. I like how you've placed everything in your frame which is to say composition but I'm getting tired of that word so I'de rather say what about the composition I like. I like the background with all the cubbyholes filled with his supplies and I like the dark boot laces as a border on the right. The man feels boxed in and that is the story I make from your picture. What'd he say: "no move and no vacation." What's with the world that cannot afford to give a hard working Joe a little freedom, a little space and a little time off? Perhaps that has added wrinkles to his strong face. I admire how he endures in spite of it. I look forward to more strong, original-looking, story-filled photographs from you.

Beautifully done. To expand on earlier comment, something in the shoe fixer's gaze speaks of the sadness of being tied to his craft as well as an air of pride in his profession.

Ilker, hi!:) Now I develop films and make my own prints by myself. But This is a scan from a negative. I have this picture printed 50x50 sm (about 20x20 inches.)

Great expression, love all the included details around him... 2 things that jumped out though were to lose the white door frame on the left edge. Since you digitized this frame try skewing the upper left until it disappears. I attached a version I did myself. Also, very minor, I always like titles with "The' instead of 'A' - so 'The Shoe Fixer', I don't know, it just seems more grand :-).
