I think you did well. It is hard to divorce from the roman numeral tattoo. It intrigues but also detracts. She is wholesome enough with out skin art...but I can see that is judgmental yet one gets a critique which is not judgmental is elusive. I am sure that for some it adds to her character. But how, beats me. I wish you well. I like the warm glow a lot. Ah youth. For myself I would clone out the long tattoo and not blink and eye for doing it. Lovely simple study portrait. Casual and engaging.

Thanks for stopping by. I was considering tattoo removal using content aware in Photoshop CC 2018 but it will not be her portrait. To me personality is more important that having or not having tattoos.

I think the lighting captures her eyes and hair very well. The tattoo is somewhat distracting but it gives her personality. Warm and inviting to the eye and the heart. Looks wonderful.
