bruckner 518 Posted November 14, 2017 Nice setting, the human beings add to the dramatic landscape, well seen and post processed as b&w. Link to comment

alfbailey 2 Posted October 26, 2018 Hi Michael, I was just browsing your portfolio and I found this one particularly striking! The silhouetted figures on the pale rocks really draw the eye from the detailed foreground and moody sky. Very well done! Link to comment

michaellinder 16,611 Posted October 10, 2019 David, I agree with your comment. One element that often (not necessarily always) adds interest and humanity to a landscape shot is at least one person. Many thanks, michael Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted July 14, 2021 Hello Michael: I had passed several times on commenting on this image until I reviewed your portfolio as I was surely missing something or not looking at the photo more carefully. At first, the "now" very interesting human figures, like dancing primitives festive atop a rock, started making sense and balancing the photo. Without the figures, this would be a beautiful, powerful landscape, complementing the sky's texture to that of the rock. Of course, for me BW makes it more dramatic and compelling. Beautiful.
