Thanks, Holger for the comment and feedback. I am thinking of converting my Nikon D200 to an infrared-capable camera. This inexpensive point and shoot is just too soft on the lens corners. It's the nature of the beast I am told. The PowerShot was not a great choice for infrared, to begin with, because infrared is also soft-appearing to start.
