The image would have been successful without the vignetting. Given the rectangular, light vignette, the image becomes a museum piece. Outstanding composition, good grayscale range, and textural variety add a great deal, as well. Congratulations, Laurent, on such a fine piece of work. - - michael - - - - PS a favorite!

Hi Michael,...This is one of my pet subjects on the Island and I have and stil am taking it under different skies.Yesterday,I shot this and went soft in PP in honour of my mother-in-law we buried the day before.Glad you like enough to keep in your Favourites....Merci et salutations-Laurent
