Wayne Sadler 556 Posted October 29, 2017 Through time and narrow canals, gondolier and light eclipse shadows tracing ancient Venetian geometry. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted October 29, 2017 I prefer this picture to the similar view with the gondolier. This one is not so "painterly" as the other picture. Subtler adjustments have made for a more cohesive picture that straddles the line between realism and impressionism. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted October 29, 2017 A hauntingly beautiful fantasy about Venice.... I think it's the lighting that sets the mood. Link to comment
krpradu 125 Posted October 29, 2017 Exploring Venice on narrow canals with old buildings and lot of history there.Indeed the light creates a mystery mood here.Is true that this is different as pp you usually did on your photos(as Jack says ) and I think if you will try a version on this way can be also very attractive. gdrastal 0 Posted October 30, 2017 Just the right amount of manipulation to look impressionistic. Good use of converging lines to bring the eye toward the gondolier. Link to comment
bruckner 516 Posted October 31, 2017 Nice light (dark side and light side splitting the image evenly ) with good post processing, well seen and presented. Link to comment

puce 1 Posted May 23, 2021 Beautiful impressionistic feel to this image. The way you have framed the image really draws the viewer in to the scene - there is no choice! Beautifully executed. - Aina Link to comment
