Very fine shot, Michael. The cinemascope view is absolutely right for this picture with its traingulating pathways (I meant to write triangulating but my typo kind of fits the situation). They introduce a certain poignancy to the picture given that the young man is situated at their convergence, foreshadowing choices yet to come.. Your latest work isl very good, among your best "straight" pictures. I'll put this one in my favorites.

Jack, I must admit that I put a lot of time and work into this image. The original was significantly cropped. I also had to clone out a bunch of nuisance items. To boot, I used a saturation tool for some areas and a desaturation tool for others. I'm glad you connected with the image (and don't worry about the typo).

This is really good, Michael. He and the rest of the world seem to be converging toward some common point in the future, but we do not know what he will find there.

Wow, Michael, a very profound message with such an "innocent", i.e. casual photograph. A young man, facing so many different paths, so adroitly presented in different textures and materials! A true work of" psychologically projective" photography. Very interesting work. My very best regards to you. It is always a pleasure to chat on "job-talk" with you. About Jack, I haven't heard from him until late, when he was too tired of PN that....imagine this.....he preferred to post on Instagram....That should tell you a lot about his state of mind regarding photography. I am sure he is happily immersed in his work. Worry not. Kindest regards and thanks a million.

Daniel, as always, you came up with a meaningful set of remarks about this image. In all honesty, I don't remember whether I cropped the image to illustrate the many option the subject may have and, more generally, that life is full of choices or whether I simply wanted to eliminate some unwanted elements. I'm always grateful for your support of my work. Regarding Mr. McR, I seem to remember his mentioning Instagram some time ago. - - My best always, michael
