Wayne Melia 5,976 Posted October 22, 2017 Chuckle. Did you have anything to do with the eyepatch, or the bandaid on the cheek? Nice to see a scarf in place for winter. Link to comment
Tony Long 28 Posted October 24, 2017 Anthropomorphic pathos of the highest order. Can't help but laugh though. Going into favourites cos I know that on a crap day this pair will find out my sense of humour. Regards Tony Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted October 25, 2017 Wayne, Steve, Anthony........ Thanks for taking the time to comment. As an old geezer myself, I can commiserate with this ancient pair, battered and worn but steadied by the bonds of friendship. It's unfortunate that they've been subjected to so much out and out garbage over the years. Stand firm brave warriors! Link to comment

michaellinder 16,611 Posted October 30, 2017 Jack, I am reminded of a bit of wisdom from my past: "Two sets of eyes are better than one." I have to qualify this by noting that the friend on the left seems to have a serious eye issue. Only you can pick two garbage containers as subjects for a photograph and not only get away with it, but with style, no less! Link to comment

DGorinstein 20 Posted November 19, 2017 Hi Jack: I hope this message finds you well. Wow, quite a "first impression", smacks one right in the face! Is it a joke? No!!! But it is one of your many knacks. In this (and several other cases) what I am learning from you is that you are, also in some instances, a true Cowboy, i.e. "shooting from the hip", and you never fail to aim right. The last thing I noticed is that it was a trash bin. Instead, the odd, particular and unique thing about your work is that there is always a "second take", and to me, the first of them was a very strange and rare representation of a cartoon character. Two pair of eyes, one with a damaged eye....funny, yet, in photographic terms superbly serious and handled. As always, the Master has satisfied it's audience.... DG Link to comment
