Jack McRitchie 150 Posted October 17, 2017 Lannie, this picture has a definite period photo look, like a picture taken in the 1960's. I'm curious whether you processed it for that effect. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted October 18, 2017 Jack, this came out of my Panasonic with a cyan cast that I could only fix (more or less) by significant desaturation. The buildings certainly do look like an earlier era. I know nothing about the history of this little town of Morganton, NC, except that it was as far north as the Spaniards ever settled. --Lannie Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted November 27, 2017 Lannie, to me, the desaturation worked well. Sometimes, colors that are bordering on oversaturation can distract from the image as a whole. That was not the case here. As to the buildings -- I'd go one step further; their style appears to be art deco. Loved this image! Link to comment
