Wayne Sadler 567 Posted September 18, 2017 Who hasn’t had the fantasy of living on a boat. Along the Seine, I looked in awe at those who had the courage to live out that fantasy. Because of all the “clutter” on boats like these – flower pots, ropes, chairs, tarps, rudders, buckets, etc., a straight photograph shows too much detail and muddies the fantasy. This image needed a more watercolor feel to it where lines are lost and found and hues flow into each other. Link to comment

DGorinstein 20 Posted June 4, 2021 Hello Wayne: I take this opportunity to apply an extensive and HUMBLE THANK YOU for your various comments and visits to my work. - Change of subject: I have said once, and repeat now it to reinforce it: I am an art lover, an older one, perhaps a classic if you will. Yet, your images and your post-processing are so magnificent and UNIQUE, that lets us PN members (still remaining members, sadly) agape and willing to learn from Masters like you. I find your photography quite apart from the crowds. I regret good photographers have left this panel, but happy to reinforce the value of this web site.......(Elves: please take note, can you please?). DG Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 567 Posted June 4, 2021 Many thanks, Daniel. Couldn’t be a better compliment than to be seen as a part of the amazing artists like you who have remained on this site and those who have left. I too miss their inspiring art. I don’t pride myself on being a great artist but I love art and think I recognize great art when I see it. I get the same excitement viewing your art as I do when I visit a place like the MET.
