michaellinder 16,613 Posted September 16, 2017 Laurent, I never tire of seeing photographs of this classic Cadillac (even though I don't remember its model year). Of the 3 you recently posted for critique, I like this one the best. The artifacts in the sky lend an otherworldly feel to what otherwise might have been a straightforward photo of an abandoned car. - - michael Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted September 16, 2017 Hi Michael...this is a 1960 model, not as outrageously winged as the 1959 but noticibly Cadillac of the 60's.The rusty overtake shows what Canadian winters do to cars in these parts. This one is not far from home in a newly opened scrap-yard and I had been promising myself to stop and snap a shot as it was parked just beyond the entry gate and being overtaken by the vegetation.Today,I had decided it was time but when I got there,it had been towed out of the yard and left outside the gate as a sort of ad for the business. The setting was not that great and to get away from just a shot of an abandoned car as you say,I tweaked the image in PP.Glad you like and thanks for the kind note.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
