Part of it is due to the symmetrical construction; another part results from the simplicity of design; and, finally, the tree(s) behind the house give it shelter and shade. Landrum Kelly 65 Posted August 29, 2017 Michael, I didn't think too much about the trees until I read what you wrote. Then it occurred to me that the dappled light created by the shadows of trees not in the picture were a big part of the appeal for me.The other trees behind it do frame it perfectly.
