Enjoying a book

Very nice backlighting, Steve. The light creates much of the atmosphere that is essential for the mood in this scene. The photo frames in the background symbolize the array of memories where this photo will belong, eventually. Very effective depiction of family, and the essence of it's connections.

Thanks for the positive responses! I walked into the house and saw Iris sitting there looking at a book. The light was from an upper window that just happened to be shining on her. I quickly grabbed my camera and got a few shots. She wasn't even aware I was taking her picture.

This is really good, Steve. I especially like the family photos behind the little girl. she's the latest chapter in an unfolding story.
