Lost at sea-web

It's somewhat mesmerizing to gaze intently at this image in its entirety, rather than concentrating on specific elements. I think this is due primarily to the somewhat smooth character of the water and the nearly absent highlights. One element I do find quite compelling is how the paddler on the right is totally silhouetted while his companion's torso is a slightly lighter shade. -- michael
