As you know, I weasn't very active on PN after V-2 was installed. Recent changes have been sufficient to lure me back though I am in no way completely satisfied with various management decisions, usability and continuing navigation problems. The recent Timeline addition, for example, seems redundant and really hasn't been thought through very well. Regardless, I'm back for the time being and we'll see how things shake out from here. I've really missed interacting with you and viewing your pictures which often have an edge to them that I like. I have nothing against pretty pictures but they usually don't move or stimulate me. They're there to be admired and not to challenge our ordinary and accepted understanding of things. Unfortunately the great majority of those members whose work most impressed me have left the site; there are few remaining - yourself and a couple more - who consistently capture my attention with their ability to transform the everyday world through their photographic vision. The picture above is a good example. The face on the mosaic piece on the wall feels more alive than the museum-goers passing by who seem more like dissociated ghosts. It's a very good picture. It received no comment.
