You have caught this little bird in flight with the wings well spread . A beautiful image . (For me this image seems overexposed but can be my monitor, Try to reduce the exposition or contrast a little more) , ciao Giangiorgio

Thanks Giangiorgio. I see what you mean about the exposure, and I'm not a fan of white skies, but the gray color on the bird's head and throat is right. I thought about darkening the exposure and dodging the bird, but then the darkish patch on the lower throat stood out more, and that's not really accurate in terms of the bird's plumage. Also I didn't want the wings to be lighter. I tend to go for a lighter exposure generally because prints always seem to look darker than what I see on the monitor.
