tm_j 30 Posted June 16, 2017 LOL, Thanks Greg & Verena! This week the lighting is wonderful everyday and I managed to take 1/2 day off yesterday to go shoot but got nothing. These birds don't follow any rhyme or rhythm ... any schedule .. quite elusive at time. This is what happen when the chick (coming in) got so hungry and come up to push the adult (his mother in this case) off the perch. Basically, to tell her to go hunt! Generally, the father suppose to go hunt and the mother stay to watch the chicks but at this nest the father is quite a dead beat dad such that the chicks can push him off 5,6 times and he still won't go hunting. I had the camera setup resting on a fence post aiming while talking to a German lady about Peregrine Falcon and when I see a flicker of moment from the mother, I squeeze and hold to get the whole series. My first time to get trading places .. images. Link to comment
