This simple, straightforward, unassuming image has a lot of appeal and, better still, the power to take hold of a viewer (as it did with me). As pleasant as it may be to gaze at the lush vegetation and the dappled light, it is even more rewarding to engage in an investigation regarding what may lurk behind the window that is partially hidden - itself an engaging element. - - I'm glad I finally was able to catch up with you, Lannie.

Thank you so much, Michael! I am glad someone appreciates what I was trying to do here. As for "catching up with me," I guess I haven't been here too frequently this spring. Maybe I will have more time now.
