michaellinder 16,611 Posted May 24, 2017 Tony, this is a lovely, sensitive, and well crafted image. The colors are vivid without being oversaturated, and they blend quite well. What really attracted me to the image was the dramatic contrast between the soft flow and soft detail of the water, and the sharp detail of the tree trunk and the leaves. BTW, did you - or would you - consider cloning out the tree stuff along the upper right edge? Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted May 24, 2017 Michael. Thanks for your kind words. I did consider removing the leaves on the right side and because there is so little of it, I agree with your proposal to clone them out. I stayed at this location and ran off about 25 shots. I was uneasy with the composition to place the tree almost 'dead' center and I have another where I swing the camera to the right which gives me much more of the bush on the right side and concurrently, visually shifting the tree to the left. I finally settled on this one. Link to comment
tai 3 Posted May 25, 2017 Wonderful photo! In one frame - peace and harmony and dynamics. And the color is very lively and gentle. With respect Tatiana. Link to comment
sjmurray 33,508 Posted June 6, 2017 Nicely graphic Tony! It looks like you are having the high water like we are here in St. Paul, MN on the Mississippi. Link to comment
