This location was the sight of several of my projects, I just like to photograph in the industrial part of the city. My wife was happy to pose in that location with the pair of $7.99 Home Depot welders goggles - At that point Apocalyptic People was created -

Tony,

I'm glad to hear it's a bigger project (projects), not just a couple of photos (very good ones indeed),

The project might become pricey though - more goggles... :), and some other 'equipment' , BTW those Home Depot goggles look very cool!

I also like that sentence-'transportation will be provided' which could serve as an alternative title,

Excellent work!

ZT,

Congrats, Tony! Splendid post-processing as always and a very keen subject. I like how one eye has that evil shine!

What's "apocalyptic" about this other than the photo processing? The lady looks chipper and well-fed in a nice snappy outfit,

"The lady looks chipper and well-fed in a nice snappy outfit,"

One explanation could be, she herself is the architect of the apocalypse.

An intriguing image, Tony, quite suitable for POTW . . . Indeed, it is quite atmospheric, as Donna noted. There are two specific elements which really caught my eye. First, the grungy appearance of the subject's coat gives me the impression that it is a survivor of whatever series of events created this future. Secondly, although Vjacheslav called attention to the subject's face, I don't interpret it as he did. Rather, I see the right side of the subject's goggles as brightly reflecting sunlight - as if it's conveying the subject's ability to endure the hardships of the world's existence. - - Finally, as an aside, this images has convinced me that I must pay more attention to your work.
