I wonder why such an intense photograph hasn't gotten more comments. It is indeed hard and painful to watch, but it takes a keen photographer to capture an aspect of human condition with an equally well complemented background. Well done!

the black. image to the right looks like the shadow of a skater. he seems disconnected in a way a passerby but you noticed him

A heart rendering and emotionally charged image my friend. Your crop is good it gives it just enough background for balance and showing us he's on the street. A very sad, real, but well captured photo ZT. I think I'll hold on to this for a while....................Best Always, Holger

A compelling image with a strong social comment. The perfect POV highlights the importance of the shoes in this story, things usually taken for granted, here held by the man tightly as if a treasure or a precious gift. Also like the pallette of colors that gives this street shot an artistic touch yet doesn't deprive the scene of reality.
