OK, Pierre; your title shows that you are a jokester in addition to your other talents. I never get tired of seeing images like this, since there is only a tiny handful of brick wall structures built in south Florida. The pays tribute to the wall you photographed by revealing both the bricks' lovely colors and also their details. I find the mortar particularly fascinating. Thanks for making sure that my interest in your work remains keen! - - michael

Welcome and thank you, Chris, Les, Michael, Holger, Koushik and Zbigniew! In your comments I can also see questions which request an answer! One answer to all: This is a pure aesthetic and there is no such object that has no aesthetics in it, besides this picture also tells a story of poverty and hard life! Cheers to that! PDE

With one of my lenses, I always have difficulty with this type of shot and end up spending a lot of time straightening things. You have produced a fine result so congrats to you.

Thank you, Patsy! Thank you too, Garry! Garry, it was my 18-55 mm kit lens on 55 mm, so it doesn't have barrel distortion! Cheers! PDE

You know my friend, a long long time ago, when I was just a naive youngster, in photo-club Split there were two excellent photographers who hated each other and, of course, for each of them the other one was a just a bloody amateur. Members of the club, knowing the story, used every opportunity to provoke them in order to hear the litany of how the good photo is made and who is better. In one of these heated moments, one of them said : " I will make a photo of the EMPTY WALL and it will be a better picture than you have ever done!!!"

Well, my friend, you wall is not bad at all...

Sve najbolje prijatelju!!!!
