An Observation

super hilarious its great

Continuing the thread.... Far from hilarious, I find this image compelling, interesting, refined and well conceived. It is a serious endeavor that deserves utter commendation. An incredible feat of equilibrium....the expression, the color of the hair, the perfect DOF, the symmetric reflection on the twin lenses....useless to highlight the obvious. Better to enjoy a magnificent composition and a superb Photograph, like in the good old days (note the capital P). Into my faves! DG

Daniel just because a photo strikes us as being funny or makes us laugh or smile doesn't mean it can't be taken seriously.. or that it has less of an impact or of less value/ for me its genius the binoculors for eyes that smile that looks drawn on.. its quirky cute. if you see this as serious than its just another kid looking thru binoculars BORING! everyone has there take and personal opinions.. for me this is spectacular and humorous

Stephanie, we are clearly on totally different pages. I guess you did not understand the meaning of my comment. Yes it is funny, but I was merely making observations from a deeper and purely technical point of view.
