Last sunlight of the day....

This pic was made at the summit area of Mt. Whitney.... facing east. Behind these illuminated rocks is the bluff which falls 2,000 feet.....the bluff most people see from the Owes Valley.It was an awesome experience to spend one night alone at this summit. Meeting Brandon, a solo mountaineer, who was arriving at the summit at one o'clock a.m. made that experience even more special.
