The boats and wakes in this series are like sperm. The illusion (?) would be strengthened by cropping out the sky.

Beautiful hues and design to this series. Don't think I have ever seen an armada presented so artistically.

Life with her cycle every where on this Earth so well caught by you,after a long cold winter with boats caught in ice like in an hibernation now is time for action.

Hi Wayne, I had not really looked at it this way....especially when shooting this from atop the bridge with below freezing winds whipping at me.I applied your suggestion on a sister shot.....does strengthen the illusion,but could not attach as the OLD/GOOD PN would allow.Salutations-Laurent

Hi Wayne, Thank you;this is an annual event and lasts but for a few minutes as the boats hover/wait on the east side of the bridge for the strike of 6h00 am(under the watchful eye of Fisheries officers) before racing out for the best fishing spots.The rising sun was just about to appear over the horizon and warmed up the sky just right. Radu,You are right and the start of the fishing season is really a rebirth as the fishing industry provides a livelyhood for most of the people in this area.
