I learned something today! I was going to "correct" you in saying that this is not an elk; it's a moose. But then I looked it up on Google, and found out that the same animal is called "moose" in North America and "elk" in Europe. What we call "elk" in North America is an entirely different animal. So if this is a European animal, then you are correct that it is called "elk". Thanks for the education!

Very nice picture, by the way. I love how the depth of field is so precise.
I used The Nikkor AF-S 300mm F2.8G ED VRII for this image so I was able control the dof to some extent.
This is my favorite in the series. Well done.
