Hi Chris, This is a very followed happening here as the start of the lobster season on May 1st depends on all this ice being out of the harbour and out on the open sea in order for the boats to be slipped in the water and the traps laid.Glad you like the shot!Salutations-Laurent

Hi Daniel,Thank you my friend;this yearly occurence is watched very closely by most in our small community as it is the sign of the approaching start of the fishing season(lobster and crab).The bridge supplies the elevated POV and I only have to wait with my trusted wide-angle lense for a good sky to accompany the breakup.Glad you like!
