Leslie Reid 5,234 Posted March 27, 2017 Nice moment! I'm wondering if it might give the image even more impact if you were to crop it more tightly--maybe about half-way between the wheel well and the door handle, and about halfway between the wing window and the edge? But I also like it just as it is--there's a satisfying sense of mystery here about what's being pointed at, and I love the light on the hand. Nice! Link to comment
Wayne Melia 6,037 Posted March 27, 2017 Thanks Leslie, for making the time. I agree that the loss below the fender line is probably no loss. The LHS gets problematic, I think, in that it would chop the door line into two separate lines, and I think that would be awkward. I don't have a natural eye for composition, so value suggestions. The bit of whatever on the roof on the upper left is also problematic from a design perspective, but I think surgery would kill the patient, so I pretend it's a 'necessary element to authenticate the subject in its environment'. (and if I can invent that, then I might just have a bridge for sale too....) Link to comment
