Nice! There's a lot of character portrayed in these two characters, and I like how the shapes stand out--and then not quite stand out--against the lighter background. I'm also really enjoying the diagonal pattern of the gaps in the wooden panel on the left--it makes for a very effective composition overall.

Leslie, Thanks for your involved comment. A side point - the diagonal lines you mention are a functional design to help strengthen the door. The donkey and the goats generally get along pretty well.
