GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted March 21, 2017 When I uploaded this image I talked about it a bit under Description......but I don't see anything here......still confused....but I will persevere. I have this image in colour but wanted to convert to black and white. I did try a texture on it that I liked how it added a deep blue hue. I might work on this one again and do a different crop. Your thoughts are always appreciated, thanks :) Gail (just saw what I wrote under the Description in tinsy wee wee letters above the Title. I have a 27" Moniter, I don't know how someone with a smaller monitor would ever read what I wrote, but maybe on a smaller screen it is easier ? Link to comment

hstelljes 41 Posted March 21, 2017 Hi Gail, Nice to see a new image from you, and as PD stated rare to see an image of a bee in b&w, I agree and think it works. Good details as well. Yeah this site has me scratching my head a bit also but I'm hanging in hoping it will streamline itself. We should be able to see if an image we commented on was followed up by the poster without to much difficulty and a few other things like that. Whatever..............Best Always, Holger Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted March 23, 2017 thanks so much Pierre.......happy to hear from you and know that you liked this one........the colour one is still better I think but wanted to try the conversion. Link to comment

sarah_mcnulty 5 Posted March 25, 2017 Hi Gail, what a great idea to do this in B/W, it's really brought out the textures and patterns and especially makes you focus on the bee. Lovely image! Best wishes. Sarah. Link to comment

charo 3 Posted March 26, 2017 Hi, Gail. Still I am learning to use the new webb, I suppose that for the young people is easier, as many of them have grown with technology. Now I'm looking at the image with a laptop and I can see below the title these words: "'I have this image in colour as well. I converted it to black and white but really liked a texture I tried with it. Always trying to find ways to enjoy this Hobby in the Winter'"I like the original black and white conversion and diagonal composition. the texture is interesting too.Kind Regards, and I hope you continue to find entertainment in photography.
