Old and new.

I don't know how big I'll be able to print this since it's a crop from a much larger image. Time to buy that long lens (was thinking about the 135 sf :)

A short break after all those "serious" (or boring?) pictures. Hope

I really like this! You managed to capture wonderful architecture and still have the story of the young boys on the steps very apparent. Well done!!

As you know, I much prefer your less serious work ........................ (-;

This is really cool Simone. Look at all the shapes, patterns , textures and colors. And throw in your older brothers ? Like icing on the cake ............... I see too they are looking thru the wallet they just lifted from your pocket ......................... (-; ................. I would increase the saturation slightly and add a little unsharp mask (25-30%) but is Very well done as is.

Best Viewed Large ....

I already sharpened Ken, and I don't want to bring out jpg pixels and stuff. I read many tutorials on sharpening but really seems the results are a bit random to me.

I already saturated as well (this camera doesn't do many things on it's own :) maybe I could selectively saturate the windows and wall.

Thanks Ken!

Such a wonderful capture of these two boys. I would even consider cropping out the white carved cardinal on the left and have a tall vertical pic that focuses strictly on the boys which would also emphasize the size of those majestic doors. The old door and the marble steps already gives you a very good feel of the architecture but this is my opinion only. Nice work Simone!

Thanks Margaret!

This is already a crop of a larger picture, so cropping even more would make for a very bad print I'm afraid :)

Fabulous shot! I love the framing and the use of beautiful architecture as a backdrop for the portrait of the 2 youths.
