Gerald Cafferty 83,433 Posted February 27, 2017 Hi Tony, an interesting grunge treatment, does this reflect the neighbourhood. I like the colours, subdued whilst strong. If that's not a contradiction....Regards GC. Link to comment
Tony Brandstetter 814 Posted February 27, 2017 Thanks GC - Yes the state of the "Hill" in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania is a dirty little situation. Burned out buildings, drugs, sex kittens and no one wants to do anything about it. When I go to photograph it is like going into a war zone, before I leave the house to shoot my wife gives me the "Be careful" speech, she knows she had to come and save my fat ass a few times Link to comment

Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted March 1, 2017 Tony, I assume that rooms are $5.00 per night. Nice image. You likely chose to have the poles slant inward and to have the buildings lean back. Larry Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted November 2, 2017 Tony, I was looking over your portfolio and noticed this picture that I guess I missed when it was first posted. Love the treatment here and the view of the buildings. The green sign rallies the whole composition around itself. An exemplary picture in every respect. Link to comment
