Deep Lake in Winter

It's the tundra in all its glory with very fine detail. I like the perspective David, the trees and shoreline reaching back and taking my eyes with them.

Seems nature hibernate,all is frozen and total silent.Sometime in place like this when I walk was so quiet,no birds singing,maybe just a raven from time to time.I like how you composed this and color contrast with grass.What are your opinion now about this new face of site?I just try to fit in with this,lot of things we do not have here.First impression is that photos look better on this dark bg and even resolution seems to be a high one.Will see....

so lonesome I could cry :)

Thanks Mike. Yep - had boots on, but they weren't high enough when I had to go pull Hans out of the ice he had broken through. We both had very cold feet (paws) on the way home.
