Laurent this winter was every where so strange and creates lot of damages. Is nice as photo subject and so bad for nature, for our life.Thinking to lot of your winter photos I believe that not so often was something like this, isn't so?I try to manage this new site format.

I love the light and colors Laurent, a very beautiful capture that is very pristine and cold....

Hi Radu,

Thank you my friend. You are right about the photos and the incidence of these ice-storms on both nature and those whom it touches. This was my second major storm as I had previously experienced the infamous Quebec ice-storm of 1998 which paralysed the province for 28 days and caused major damage to the power grid....but we managed and survived as we will this new PN format.

Hi Greg and Verena,

No sooner thawed out that we get hit by a few snowfalls/light storms.Thankfully, the multi-crews whom were working hard to restore power were spared the snowfalls although they were overwhelmed by cold temperatures towards the end of the crisis. Now,the telecommunication crews are hard at work restoring their cables which were on the same poles .
