This piece of plastic floated from the Atlantic ocean to the portuguese

coast. Unfortunately, thousands of tones of plastic are floating in every

ocean, a danger to the sea life and to some birds and also for our and

future generations...

You are quite right and this stark image serves to remind us about the dangers we have presented to our planet through the discarding of plastic!

Just on the news there was a very sad story of a malnourished whale whose stomach contents were so filled with plastic it couldn't eat and starved to death!   Such a sad story!
