A court of Huesca (Aragón, Spain) obliges Catalonia to return the artistic assets of the Monastery of Sigena.-

The holder of the Court of First Instance number 1 of Huesca has declared null and void the three operations of sale of the assets of the historical-artistic heritage of the Monastery of Sigena to Catalonia between the years 1983 and 1994. In its sentence, the judge also orders that the property of all the goods sold to the Generalitat and the National Museum of Art of Catalonia (MNAC) in these three sale and purchase operations be reinstated to the religious order of the Sanjuanistas and Proceed to the transfer of the pieces to said monastery.
