I love the point of view! You've turned a statue into a person in a way that really resonates with me--we're looking over his shoulder to see what he'd be seeing, and that makes me wonder what he'd be thinking--how much has the town changed since he last saw it? what would he think of the changes he's been overseeing? My only wish is that his left foot weren't resting on the edge of the frame. But I love photos that shake the way I see the world, and this one did.

Thank you for your observations and kind comments. My attempts to include everything in the capture missed the left foot out of frame, which was my error. Keep up the good work, best regards Ken.
