flowers Petals - Impatiens

I like the grain in the petals and the muted colors.

Sam. What fascinated me in this image is the texture of the petals. The pores reflect the light like it were a metallic surface. The colour patters on the petals do not repeat on the petals or even the flowers on the same plant. To show the texture I had to enlarge the image. To make it look aesthetic I chose this composition. Thanks for you comment.  

When I see this image in the folder along with other images and with details, it shows 6 ratings with an average of 4.17 i.e. a total of 25 points. At least one member rated it at above 4. In the details of the image, it shows a total of 7 ratings with an average of 3.86 i.e. a total of 27 points. The seventh member has rated it at 2 as bad.

I seek the critiques as the opinion of exerts who suggest strengths and shortcomings of an image and help improve. I seek anonymous ratings from the experts and novices as a measure of the public opinion on the image. I wish to tell the seventh rater that his effort to rate the image is a waste for me as it does not help me in any way. I request him to come forward and tell me what he finds bad in the image and suggest improvements.
